Social Login Pro - License Agreement

This Software License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("Licensee") and Jscriptz, LLC ("Licensor") for the use of Social Login Pro for Adobe Commerce ("Software").

1. Grant of License

Subject to the terms of this Agreement and payment of applicable fees, Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to:

  • Install and use the Software on the number of Adobe Commerce / Magento Open Source installations covered by the purchased subscription.
  • Modify the Software solely for Licensee's own internal use.

2. Subscription Terms

The Software is licensed on a subscription basis. The subscription includes:

  • Access to all Software updates and new features released during the subscription period.
  • Technical support via email during the subscription period.
  • Bug fixes and security patches.

Upon expiration of the subscription, Licensee may continue to use the last installed version but will not receive updates or support.

3. Restrictions

Licensee shall NOT:

  • Redistribute, sublicense, sell, resell, lease, or otherwise transfer the Software to any third party.
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Software.
  • Use the Software to create a competing product or service.
  • Share, publish, or make available the Software source code to any third party.
  • Use the Software on more installations than covered by the purchased subscription.

4. Intellectual Property

The Software and all copies thereof are proprietary to Licensor and title, and all intellectual property rights therein remain exclusively with Licensor. All rights not specifically granted in this Agreement are reserved to Licensor.

5. Data Privacy

The Software facilitates OAuth 2.0 authentication with third-party providers. Licensee is responsible for:

  • Complying with all applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Providing appropriate privacy notices to end users.
  • Configuring the Software in accordance with their own privacy policies.

The Software stores social account identifiers, names, and email addresses as provided by OAuth providers. No data is transmitted to Licensor.

6. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF LICENSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. LICENSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY LICENSEE FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. Licensor may terminate this Agreement immediately if Licensee breaches any term. Upon termination, Licensee must destroy all copies of the Software in their possession.

9. Support

During an active subscription, Licensor provides:

  • Email support at support@jscriptz.com
  • Response within 2 business days
  • Bug fixes for confirmed issues
  • Compatibility updates for new Adobe Commerce releases

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to its conflicts of law principles.

11. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.
